The British press reports that the strategist of London's "Chelsea" is determined to lure Madrid's "Real" defensive midfielder Sami Khedira in January.

Jose Mourinho tried to reach an agreement with his former club in the summer, but the current coach of the royal club Carlo Ancelotti immediately rejected the offer.

According to reports, the "Real" team paid around 14 million euros for the German national team player, and the "Blues" would have to pay at least 25 million euros.

The 26-year-old footballer has not mentioned the possibility of leaving Madrid, but he may lose his place in the starting lineup in the near future.

So far, S. Khedira has been a key player in the team, but he has recovered from injury and the experienced Xabi Alonso has returned to the lineup, and the young Asier Illarramendis, who cost the club more than 30 million euros, also plays for "Real".

The German joined the Spanish vice-champions in 2010 when he left "Stuttgart". During this time, the midfielder played 137 matches and scored 8 goals.
