The Madrid team "Atletico" has secured one of its main figures - Jan Oblak has put his signature on a new contract with the "rojiblancos".
The 26-year-old goalkeeper still had two years left on his contract, but it included a release clause of 100 million euros which now seemed affordable to most clubs.
"Atletico" decided not to take any risks and presented the player with a new contract until 2023. Officially undisclosed, but undoubtedly, the release clause has increased.
J. Oblak joined "Atletico" in 2014 and immediately became a key player in Diego Simeone's team. In the 203 games he has played so far, he has kept his goal "dry" 115 times.
The Slovenian won the UEFA Super Cup and the Europa League with "Atletico".
