Last summer, there were a lot of rumors about the future of Joao Palhinha, the defender of Fulham. In the last moments of the transfer window, he was just a step away from joining Bayern Munich club.

The footballer revealed to the Portuguese sports newspaper "O Jogo" that he had a tempting offer from West Ham United club in London.

"In July, I had a great offer from West Ham club and I had a conversation with the owner of Fulham, who himself pledged to extend my contract with him.
