„Paris Saint-Germain“ defender Javier Pastore says that his club is ready to make an offer for „Barcelona“ star Lionel Messi, if he ever decides to leave Spain and if money doesn't pose bigger difficulties.
The Argentinian has not been getting along well with the club management lately. After leaving his posts to sports director Andoni Zubizarreta and Carles Puyol, questions about his future arose again.
The sniper had previously mentioned this season that he could continue his career beyond „Camp Nou“. Pastore believes that among the clubs interested in acquiring Messi, PSG is at the forefront.
„If Messi wanted to leave „Barcelona“, the owner of „Paris Saint-Germain“ would be ready to offer immediately“, – said Pastore to TyC Sports.
„Money will not be a problem. The club has resources that would be enough to buy not just one Messi.“
Current owner of four Golden Balls contract with „Barca“ is valid until 2018, and the buyout clause is set at 250 million euros.
The 27-year-old footballer made 23 appearances this season and managed to score the same number of goals. Messi also managed to become the top scorer in the Spanish championship and the UEFA Champions League.
