"Man Utd" team is ramping up savings mode, implemented by Jim Ratcliffe.

After making some widely discussed decisions, the club's co-owner wanted to abolish yet another tradition.

According to ESPN, the billionaire has taken away free lunches from the team's staff in hopes of saving around £1 million a year.

According to The Sun, the changes have also affected the club's players and personnel.

From now on, the team's substitutes and all coaches will receive free soup and sandwiches during lunch, while a full set will only be provided to the first-team players.

Additionally, next summer, "Man Utd" will make every effort to part ways with at least some of their highest-paid players.

Currently, the following players are among the top ten:

1. Casemiro - £350,000 per week
2. Bruno Fernandes - £300,000
3. Mason Mount - £250,000
4. Matthijs de Ligt - £195,000
5. Harry Maguire - £190,000
6. Jadon Sancho - £150,000
7. Luke Shaw - £150,000
8. Christian Eriksen - £150,000
9. Noussair Mazraoui - £135,000
10. Manuel Ugarte - £120,000
