Former "Liverpool" defender Jamie Redknapp believes that Jurgen Klopp would be the most suitable replacement for Brendan Rodgers at the helm of the Merseyside club.
The "Reds" parted ways with the Northern Irish specialist yesterday. This happened just a few hours after the team's draw in the Liverpool derby against "Everton".
At the moment Klopp is not coaching any team. The German announced at the end of last season that he was stepping down from his position as "Borussia Dortmund" manager.
"I think Klopp has the right aura around him," Redknapp told Sky Sports. "He has something special that only a few coaches can boast about."
"I think he could come to Anfield. The fans would like that. I have a feeling that he would fit perfectly. The fact that he is currently available makes me think that the club will try to attract him."
"Of course, he will want to bring in his own staff. This might be difficult, as the club needs someone who knows and understands how everything works. Nevertheless, I would definitely look at Klopp."
Currently, "Liverpool" are in 12th place in the Premier League with 12 points, but they are only two wins away from the leader "Manchester City".
