Despite reports that he could be recalled by Real Madrid, James Rodriguez says he is happy in the ranks of Bayern Munich.
The star of the Colombian national team spent last season in Germany on loan. According to this agreement, he still has a year left with the Bavarian team, after which the Bundesliga champions can choose to buy out his contract permanently.
They will likely want to do so indeed, as the 27-year-old footballer looked great in his new team last year.
"For now, I am still here and had an impressive first season. So, I am happy here," Rodriguez told "The Suso Show."
"I feel as if the club and the fans love me very much."
During last season, in 39 matches in all competitions, the Colombian scored eight goals and made 15 assists.
