J. Rodriguez - One Step Away from Transferring to "Napoli"

T

he star of the Colombian national team, James Rodriguez, is joining forces with Carlo Ancelotti for the third time in his career.

"Sky Italy" reports that "Napoli" has completed negotiations with Madrid's "Real" for the loan of the 27-year-old midfielder. It is stated that "Napoli" will pay around 10 million euros for the season-long loan, and next summer will have the option to buy out the rights to the Colombian for 30 million euros.

This summer, this opportunity was not taken by the Munich team "Bayern", which had the option to buy out the Colombian's contract for 42 million euros.

James Rodriguez himself had already reached an agreement with the "Napoli" club. It is believed that the deal will be officially announced before the end of this week.

Arriving in Madrid in 2014, James Rodriguez would have been willing to stay with "Real", but the return of Zinedine Zidane to the club disrupted his plans.

In total, "Real" has already earned 13 million euros from James Rodriguez, which was paid by "Bayern" through the loan agreement. If "Napoli" buys out the player's contract, the Madrid club will have earned a total of 53 million euros from the goalkeeper.

Last season, James Rodriguez scored seven goals and provided six assists in 28 matches for "Bayern".
