On Saturday, the 29th round of the Bundesliga championship took place.
Dortmund's "Borussia", still fighting for the title of champions, secured a victory at home, defeating the "Mainz" team with a score of 2:1.
The hosts took the lead already in the 17th minute, when J. Sancho, left unattended in the penalty area, beat the opponent's goalkeeper. The same J. Sancho doubled BVB's lead just seven minutes later.
"Mainz" managed to respond to the two goals from the "Borussia" team only once in the second half - R. Quaison scored in the 83rd minute.
After this victory, BVB returned to the top spot in the league table, although the second-placed "Bayern" team is only two points behind and has played one less match.
