„TOPsport A lygos“ champion, „Panevėžio“ football club, will continue to move forward with Jeffrey Sarpong. The foreign player from the Netherlands will start his fourth season in the capital of Aukštaitija - the agreement has been extended for another year.

Last year, the defender became the champion of the Lithuanian championship and played in all 36 matches. During these matches, J. Sarpong scored 6 goals and made 14 assists. According to the latter component, he had no equal.

The legionnaire, who played the most matches in the club's history, played in all four UEFA Conference League matches in 2023, once again took to the green field in the LFF Cup.

The second friendly match for „Panevėžys“ will be held in Liepaja on January 17, Wednesday. The match against the local team „Liepaja“ will start at 15:00.
