"Panevėžio” football club, when the team's analyst Tomas Kačerauskas went to Thailand, invited another resident of Panevėžys to this position - Jonas Skinderis.

27-year-old J. Skinderis represented Panevėžys "Ekranas” and Vilnius "Žalgiris” during his professional football career, as well as belonged to the "Jonava” and Riga RFS clubs. From the latter team, the Panevėžys native was loaned to Tukums "Tukums 2000”.

After a short period in Jonava in 2018, J. Skinderis moved to "Panevėžys”, with whom he dramatically won the "TOPsport First League” gold. The following year, when the team from the capital of Aukštaitija debuted in the Lithuanian championship, the football player played 10 matches, in which he scored a goal and made an assist.

Having immersed himself in football analysis for a few years, the resident of Panevėžys worked for a while in the coaching staff of Lithuanian Valdas Dambrauskas, who was coaching the Heraklion OFI at that time.

"Panevėžys” on July 16, Tuesday, will play the return leg of the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round match against Helsinki HJK players. The start of the confrontation at "Bolt” arena is 19:00.
