Florence's "Fiorentina" coach Paulo Sousa insists that his team, although not considered one of the favorites in "Serie A", will fight for the champion's title.
Last night, "Viola" knocked "Inter" out of the first place in the league table by defeating "nerazzurri" in their own stadium. The match ended with a score of 4-1, with Nikola Kalinic leading Sousa's players to victory with a hat-trick.
It is precisely "Inter", "Roma" and last season's "Scudetto" winner Turin's "Juventus" who are considered the main contenders for the gold this year, but the ambitions are not lacking for the "Fiorentina" coach.
"I have already said that I am not afraid of teams that have invested a lot, because we are strong enough to step on the field every time knowing we can win," Sousa told Sky Sport Italia.
"From the beginning, I told the boys that I wanted a team that would always be ready to fight against anyone and always maintain such an attitude."
"We have principles that we work hard for, and over time it will give us more self-confidence."
