J. Stones: I Want to Become "Man City" and England's Captain

John Stones nurtures hope to one day become the captain of "Manchester City" and the England national team.

The 22-year-old center-back considers these duties a special privilege, and even though he arrived in Manchester just a month ago, it does not prevent him from demonstrating his ambitions.

So far, he has started all seven "Citizens" matches in the starting lineup.

"One day I would like to be captain," Stones said.

"Every player wants to be the captain of their team and hold these duties for many years. The captain of the club and national team is a privileged position."

"That's what you dream of when you're a little boy. The right to be captain must be earned, so I will continue to work hard for it."

This summer, Stones moved to "Man City" from Liverpool's "Everton" for £47.5 million and signed a six-year contract.
