J. Tebas mentioned when "La Liga" championships can be renewed © JumpStory

The football world continues to live in anticipation and seeks ways to extend national championships and international tournaments. "La Liga" president Javier Tebas revealed that in an ideal scenario, the Spanish championship could resume by the end of May, but later return dates are also planned. "Together with UEFA, we are considering various options. For now, the most realistic scenario is that we could resume the competition on May 28th, June 6th, or 28th. We cannot give an exact date yet. Much will depend on the decisions of the Spanish government. Until then, we have enough time to return to training and prepare for the remaining matches," Tebas told the BBC. The president of "La Liga" also stated that if the competition is not resumed, clubs will lose approximately one billion euros. "Looking at it from an economic perspective, including the money received from European tournaments, Spanish clubs would lose about one billion euros if the competition is not resumed. If we return and play without spectators, then losses will amount to about 300 million euros. Even if we manage to play with spectators, due to this situation, clubs will still lose about 150 million euros," added Tebas. Spanish clubs are prohibited from resuming training until at least April 26th.
