West Ham footballer James Tomkins has signed a new contract with the club, which will be valid until 2020.
The previous central defender's contract was due to expire next summer, but the Englishman decided to stay with the "Hammers" for longer.
"In my opinion, it's great that the club believes in me and offered me this contract. I feel happy signing it," Tomkins did not hide his joy on the official West Ham website.
"I have been here since I was seven years old, and after putting pen to the new contract, I will stay here and already counting my fourth decade. It's nice to connect the future with this team."
"Since I am a West Ham fan, I don't want to be anywhere else. In 2016, when we move to the Olympic Stadium, intriguing times will come."
