"Leicester City" sniper Jamie Vardy on Saturday equaled the legendary Ruud van Nistelrooy and became the second footballer to score in ten consecutive "Premier" league matches.
According to the Englishman, achieving this result was helped by analyzing opponents' defenders during training and regular cryotherapy - treatment with cold and low temperatures.
This season, the striker, who has already scored 13 goals, also leads the list of the most effective players in the English championship.
"The cryotherapy chamber is completely freezing, but it helps to recover. So, I thank the club for acquiring it," Vardy said.
"I was very close to not playing, but the physiotherapists did their job perfectly."
No less important, according to the 28-year-old footballer, is the work in training sessions.
"Throughout the week, we always look for ways to put myself in the most comfortable positions," added the sniper.
"We focus on who the opponents' defenders are and how they try to take the ball. Then on Saturday, we try it out in practice. This method, without a doubt, is effective."
