Approaching the upcoming European Football Championship, the England national team has encountered a crisis of attacking players' injuries.
For some time now, two main players in these positions - Harry Kane and Marcus Rashford - have been sidelined due to injuries. It is not yet clear whether these footballers will be ready to help their national team this coming summer.
Leicester's attacking star Jamie Vardy spoke about the possibility of returning to the England national team, announcing the end of his international career after the 2018 World Cup.
"Gareth Southgate and I have agreed that if needed, the doors will be open for me.
At the moment, we have not discussed a possible return. Kane and Rashford are currently injured, but it looks like they will recover in time. Time will tell," Vardy said in an interview with Sky Sports.
