"Long-time Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen believes that his partnership with the Spurs will continue after this season.
The 31-year-old Belgian's contract with Tottenham expires next summer, but they have the option to extend it for another year - until 2020. Vertonghen believes that this will happen.
"The contract expires after the season, but Tottenham has the option to extend it for another year. I think they will do that. We have to wait and see what happens," the footballer said.
Vertonghen has been playing for the Tottenham team since 2012.
In total, the Belgian has played 243 matches and scored nine goals during that time."
