London's "Arsenal" confirmed that defender Jack Wilshere has been loaned to the "Bournemouth" club and will not play for the rest of the season.
The 25-year-old footballer suffered a painful encounter with Harry Kane in the 0-4 loss to London's "Tottenham" and had to leave the field after that episode.
Further examinations revealed that the Englishman fractured his left fibula - it was this reason that he missed almost the entire last season.
In a statement released by "Arsenal", it is also mentioned that more details about Wilshere's injury will be clarified, but the club hopes that the defender will be ready to return to the field at the beginning of the next season.
However, another period without football could mean that the sidelined English national team player with the "Gunners" armband will not be seen playing anymore. He was supposed to discuss his long-term future with the "Arsenal" team this summer, but considering the current situation, the player's future career is truly uncertain.
Representing "Bournemouth", Wilshere played 27 matches in the Premier League, during which he provided two assists.
