Jack Wilshere revealed that negotiations for a new contract with London's Arsenal have not progressed yet.
The current 26-year-old midfielder's contract is only valid until the summer, so in just a few months, he will become a free agent.
That is why the Gunners are trying to finalize the deal with the Englishman as soon as possible. However, according to the media, they are demanding that the player reduce his salary.
"Everything has changed since then," - referring to previous reports of an agreement reached, Wilshere said.
"We are not closer to resolving anything."
Now Wilshere just has to focus on a successful end to the season, which could indeed happen if Arsenal triumphs in the UEFA Europa League.
