London's "Arsenal" defender Jack Wilshere says that it would be difficult to defend another club's colors, but admits that he has not yet made a decision about his future with coach Arsene Wenger.
The Englishman recently returned from another injury, which only allowed him to play in 13 matches in the Premier League this season.
"If 'Arsenal' decided to sell me, it would be painful," Wilshere told Daily Mail. "I want 'Arsenal' to want me. Otherwise, it would be painful. Representing another club would be strange. In the past, I was loaned to 'Bolton' and it was strange."
"I feel ready to play and that won't change. I want to play more minutes before the end of this season, and then I will have to wait and see what the coach's plans are," he continued.
"I want to play in the main team. I want to play in the Premier League, in the Champions League, and I want to continue representing the English national team," Wilshere added.
"If I hope to do that, I must play well in my club and show good football, because there are already such English defenders in the Premier League," he noted.
"It is impossible to stop rumors. I haven't talked to the coach about them at all. Neither of us has mentioned it," Wilshere explained.
"At this moment, I have to return to the team. The speculations about my future started when I was injured. I just want to return and focus on what I love," he concluded.
