"Sky Sports" sources reveal that London's "West Ham" is close to reaching an agreement with Jack Wilshere.
For many years a midfielder who wore the "Arsenal" colors officially became a free agent last week, but has been looking for new career opportunities for the past month.
The decision to leave the "Gunners" team was made by the 26-year-old footballer after talking to their new coach Unai Emery, who could not guarantee him much playing time.
Wilshere could become an important figure in the "Hammers" ranks. Their coach Manuel Pellegrini is truly impressed by the Englishman's game.
According to Goal.com, the midfielder will undergo a medical examination today and will sign a contract with another team from the capital in the near future.
Last season, Wilshere played 40 matches in all competitions, scoring two goals and making seven assists.
