Spanish champion club defender Juliano Belletti will miss the next month's games. The Brazilian strained his right Achilles tendon in the victorious weekend match against "Mallorca" in the Spanish league.
In that match, which "Barcelona" won 1-0, J. Belletti only played for 80 minutes, but managed to get injured. This season he has only played 16 games. Earlier, the defender had experienced knee ligament, shin, and groin injuries.
Last season, J. Belletti's goal brought victory to the Catalonia team in the Champions League final against London's "Arsenal".
Since 2004, the Brazilian defender has been playing for Barcelona and last month extended his contract until the summer of 2009.
