The French newspaper "L’Equipe" reports that the club striker from Norway, John Carew, may join one of the most powerful French clubs next January. Reports claim that the French club is looking for a tall and athletic striker, so the 195 centimeter tall J. Carew would fit the requirements perfectly.
Currently, Marseille, who holds third place in the French championship, remains one of the serious contenders for the league champion title. Furthermore, in January, the team plans to add several strong players, as desired by the newly appointed team coach, P. Troussier.
At the moment, J. Carew has a valid three-year contract with Istanbul's "Besiktas." The Norwegian arrived in Turkey this summer from the club he was loaned to in the previous season.
