Munich's "Bayern" strategist Josep Guardiola believes that Madrid's "Atletico" made no mistake in regaining Fernando Torres, as he is tailor-made for this club.
At the beginning of January, "Rojiblancos" officially completed negotiations with "Milan" and leased the 30-year-old footballer until the summer of 2016. Torres has already helped the "Atletico" team reach the quarterfinals of the King's Cup, scoring two goals against Madrid's "Real" on Thursday.
"Fernando Torres is the player who can surprise opponents at any time," said J. Guardiola. "Atletico" is his heart's club and he is suitable for this club."
"Diego Simeone likes to play counterattacking football, and Torres is tailored to this style of play," added the former "Barcelona" coach.
Guardiola also faced questions from journalists about the UEFA Champions League and the possibility of winning it.
"Atletico", "Barca" and "Real" can hinder Bayern's chances of winning trophies in Europe. Also, dangerous opponents are "Chelsea" and, of course, PSG," the Spaniard concluded.
