On Monday in Zurich (Switzerland) the winner of the "Golden Ball" will be revealed.
The prestigious prize is being contested by "Barcelona" leader Lionel Messi, Madrid's "Real" forward Cristiano Ronaldo, and Munich's "Bayern" goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
Before the evening ceremony, the German received encouragement from his team's coach, Joseph Guardiola.
"Manuel could already be called the winner. A great victory is just an invitation to fly to Zurich," said the Catalan.
"My advice to Neuer is the same as to Franck Ribery, whom I advised a year ago. Just go there and enjoy every moment. Don't think about winning or losing.
If you manage to win the prize, great, if not, it's still not a bad thing. Manuel should be very proud, because it's a fantastic achievement to become one of the top three players on the planet," Guardiola said.
The "Golden Ball" ceremony will start at 7:30pm Lithuanian time.
