"Liverpool" team coach Jurgen Klopp expressed condolences yesterday to the Munich "Bayern" strategist Carlo Ancelotti, who was dismissed.
According to the German, he was not surprised by the decision of the Bundesliga club.
"There are few things in this business that can surprise me. I watched the match against PSG. That's football - individual players can decide the outcome of the game and it happened on Wednesday," Klopp said.
"However, I don't think that one match decided everything. The "Bayern" leaders did not want the team to go this way.
That's why such a decision was made and yet I cannot understand it.
Carlo is a very, very experienced coach and I don't think he could lose all his knowledge overnight.
Sometimes one side doesn't fit the other. If "Bayern" thinks that another specialist will determine their future better, then I congratulate them.
And if Carlo wants to continue his career, I think he will find a fantastic club and show what level of coach he is," Klopp assured.
