Jürgen Klopp failed to finish his career at Borussia Dortmund with a title. In Sunday's German Cup final, his players lost 1:3 to the Wolfsburg team.
The 47-year-old German had previously announced that he would leave the Borussia coaching position at the end of the season.
Klopp has long been linked with Real Madrid, but those rumors have now definitively fallen through.
The strategist confirmed that he feels exhausted and needs a break, so he does not plan to coach any team in the near future.
Next season, Carlo Ancelotti, former Real Madrid coach who is facing health issues, will certainly not be coaching any team.
