Candidate for the president's post at "Barcelona" Joan Laporta claims that Turin's "Juventus" goalkeeper Paul Pogba would agree to move to the Catalan team.
The 22-year-old footballer is perhaps the most desired summer purchase. English and Spanish giants are fighting for his signature, but J. Laporta is confident that his close ties with P. Pogba's agent could be a decisive factor.
"Pogba would be a great acquisition," said J. Laporta, who led "Barcelona" from 2003 to 2010.
"He is a young and very strong footballer. I see his desire to move to "Barcelona." I maintain close relations with Mino Raiola, so if we decide to sign a contract with Pogba, he will be a great intermediary," added the Spaniard.
It is worth noting that "Barcelona" can acquire players this summer, but they will only be able to play in the Spanish champions' team from January next year.
