Main goalkeeper of the German national team Jens Lehmann stated that the ball of the upcoming World Cup will pose problems for goalkeepers.

"It's a ball for field players and spectators, but not for goalkeepers," the German said at a press conference on Monday. "When it rains, it becomes very uncomfortable for us. It becomes slippery, moreover, it spins very vigorously in the air."

The "Teamgeist" ball, made by the sport industry giants "Adidas", will be used in the World Cup. J. Lehmann compared it to the ball made by their fiercest competitor, "Nike".

"The ball made by 'Nike' resembles a regular leather one more," said the goalkeeper. "The 'Adidas' ball is more plastic. However, both balls make goalkeepers look bad."
