The coach of the German national team Joachim Low believes that it would be the biggest mistake if the team focused their attention only on Lionel Messi.
Today at 22 o'clock at the legendary "Maracana" stadium, the 2014 World Champion will be revealed. After defeating Brazil with a score of 7-1 in the semi-finals, the Germans are considered favorites.
"This team is not just Messi. Thinking only about him would be a mistake, as they have players like Gonzalo Higuain, Angel Di Maria, or Sergio Aguero," said the 54-year-old coach at the press conference.
"I think it will be a great final. We know how strong we are, and I believe we will win. We also know that we can make history because no European team has ever won the World Cup in Latin America. It would be an additional achievement for us," Low concluded.
The last time the German national team triumphed in the World Cup was in 1990 when they defeated Argentina in the final.
