The head coach of the German national team, Joachim Low, says that not Dortmund's "Borussia", but "Wolfsburg" should become the most serious competitor to Munich's "Bayern" team.
"Bayern" confidently triumphed in the Bundesliga championship this season, but behind them were ultimately the "wolves". Last weekend, in the German Cup final, "Borussia" was defeated with a score of 3-1 by "Wolfsburg".
"Wolfsburg" has the potential to become a serious competitor to "Bayern", Low told the newspaper "Bild".
Meanwhile, Klaus Allofs, the sports director of the German vice-champions, said: "We will follow Bayern's example. The main goal is to follow the same path that the Bayern team is on."
It is worth mentioning that on Saturday, "Wolfsburg" won their second trophy in the entire history of the club. They won their first title in 2009 when they triumphed in the Bundesliga championship.
