Porto striker Jackson Martinez, who has had the most productive season of his career, confirmed that this summer he will move to the Madrid club "Atletico".
Recently, the 28-year-old striker has been linked to the Milan club, but the Italians will be left with nothing - "Atletico" will acquire J. Martinez, who plays in Portugal, for 35 million euros.
"I can confirm that I will move to Atletico," the footballer told journalists. "I am going to Madrid for at least four years, but I don't know if I will be introduced as a team player."
"I have made great progress, constantly growing as a player and now I want to help Atletico team grow. I hope to be as successful as Colombian Radamel Falcao," added the striker.
J. Martinez joined the Porto team in 2012. This season, the Colombian played 41 matches and scored 32 goals.
