After finishing his term, Barcelona's club president Josep Maria Bartomeu revealed that this summer the Catalans will no longer try to acquire Turin Juventus talent Paulo Pogba.
Recently, Juventus rejected Barcelona's attempt to buy the French national team midfielder for 80 million euros. Juventus representatives told the media about the attempt to acquire the 22-year-old player.
Meanwhile, Barcelona officially announced the acquisition of Turkish Arda Turan from Madrid's Atletico on Monday.
"We will not buy Pogba this year. He is not in our plans for the next season," said J.M. Bartomeu.
Barcelona club still cannot acquire new players this summer, but they can negotiate with them for a later transfer to the team. The Catalans will only be able to register new purchases during the winter transfer window in January 2016.
