London's "Chelsea" coach Jose Mourinho revealed that in the past he had the opportunity to become the manager of "Tottenham" but refused.
In 2007, the owner of the "Blues" Roman Abramovich decided to fire the titled Portuguese and it was stipulated in his severance agreement that he could not work in England for two years.
"Tottenham" tried to take advantage of the situation, but it was to no avail.
"I could not accept their offer because I was prohibited from coaching English teams for a couple of seasons.
However, I would still have refused, because I love the fans of "Chelsea" too much," said Mourinho.
"I do not want to go elsewhere and I will stay here until Mr. Abramovich says 'Jose, that's enough'.
Then I will go to my home in London and wait for offers from English teams. But I would like to coach "Chelsea" until the end of my career."
