Journalists chose J. Kluivert as the most promising young footballer.

Amsterdam's "Ajax" forward Justin Kluivert triumphed in the annual "NxGn" rankings conducted by the football news portal Goal.com.

Journalists from 37 countries selected him as the most promising player born after January 1, 1999. The Dutchman, who received the most votes, was now recognized as the most promising.

The legendary Patrick Kluivert's son narrowly beat last year's best goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma from "Milan," and took third place behind Vinicius Junior, who cost a record amount for Real Madrid.

Behind the top three were Kluivert's teammate in the Netherlands national team, Matthijs de Ligt, and Manchester City's talent Phil Foden.

The other players who made it into the top 50 are not named specifically - you can find their list here.

Meanwhile, the winner of the rankings, Kluivert, has already attracted the attention of giants such as Manchester United and Barcelona, so it will be truly difficult for Ajax to keep him in the summer.

This season, the Dutchman scored eight goals and provided four assists in a total of 30 matches.
