"Atletico" club in Madrid will no longer have another legend - 34-year-old Juanfran says goodbye to the "rojiblancos" team after eight years.
A special farewell conference took place on Thursday, where Juanfran said his final words as an "Atletico" player.
"This is my last day at the club," - said the defender. - This is my home. I have experienced many great and difficult moments here. Nevertheless, my best career years passed here."
"I thank with all my heart the people who supported and respected me all these years. I came here from our neighbors. My father has always been a 'Real' supporter, but I quickly became an 'Atletico' fan.
"I arrived as a Viking ('Real' fan), and I leave as an Indian ('Atletico' fan)," - added Juanfran.
Juanfran played for "Atletico" club since January 2011. In total, he played 347 matches and scored six goals in the "rojiblancos" ranks.
The defender won seven titles with "Atletico".
