The London "Tottenham" team became the last team to reach the semifinals of the English League Cup.

On Thursday, the "Spurs" defeated "Manchester United" 4:3 at home in the tournament's quarterfinals.

The hosts took the lead in the 15th minute when the "Man Utd" goalkeeper Altay Bayındır unsuccessfully deflected the ball back towards his goal, and Dominik Solanke capitalized on this mistake. That was the only goal in the first half.

Just after the start of the second half, "Man Utd" defender Lisandro Martinez made an error that Dejanj Kulusevski took advantage of.

In the 54th minute, "Tottenham" led 3:0 after a precise shot from D. Solanke.

However, at that moment, the "Spurs" goalkeeper Fraser Forster began giving gifts to the guests. Initially, the goalkeeper gifted the ball to Bruno Fernandes in the penalty area, who rolled it into the empty net for Joshua Zirkzee.
