After a draw with Turin club, strategist Luigi Delneri did not spare compliments for his team.
"I am very pleased with the performance of my players. We created quite a few chances to score, and practically did not allow the opponents to do so," the coach began.
"We were superior to 'Roma' because we managed to create more chances. We also managed to play the whole game in a disciplined and reliable manner."
Delneri praised the players' attitude and did not hide disappointment with the result of the match.
"Strong determination and will to win - that's what I saw today. These matches will cause a lot of talk, but we deserve the victory.
"My team is strong and always fights to the end. Did they control the ball? This is not a boxing ring. You don't win matches by just collecting points.
"We played more dangerously and therefore deserved the three points. This match will give us strength for the future," Delneri said. "
