"Juventus" confirmed one message, denied another

"Juventus" really wanted to attract "Barcelona" defender Dani Alves.

This was confirmed by the head of the "Serie A" club, Giuseppe Marotta. However, the Italian denied earlier rumors that the club was interested in Barcelona player Javier Mascherano.

"So far nothing official. I cannot confirm or deny it. D.Alves is not our player yet, but he is an important player. We will see what we can do, especially since 'Juventus' has the potential to show muscles in all tournaments," Marotta said.

"Mascherano? Just press speculations," he added.

The manager also revealed that not everything is lost in trying to keep the Spanish player Alvaro Morata in the team.

"We will do everything to keep him. We will talk with the 'Real' team after the Champions League final," he said.
