Italian newspaper "Tuttosport" reports that Turin's "Juventus" will closely monitor "Manchester United" midfielder Juan Mata until the winter transfer window.

Massimiliano Allegri is interested in the possibility of attracting the 26-year-old footballer in January, but it could cost the Italian champions a significant amount of money.

The Spaniard, who left London's "Chelsea" last winter, cost "The Red Devils" 37 million pounds. "Juventus" believes they can acquire this player after Louis van Gaal attracted several other famous footballers in the summer.

In total, J. Mata has played 18 official matches for "Man Utd" and scored seven goals in them.
