Recently, "Napoli" forward Gonzalo Higuain has been linked with Turin's "Juventus" club, but now these rumors should subside.
"Bianconeri" director Giuseppe Marotta announced that they do not want to pay the requested amount by Napoli club - 94 million euros.
"For now, the sniper's transfer is on hold. I can confirm that we will not pay such amount of money," Marotta said after a meeting with both team leaders.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis said something similar: "Juventus" informed me that they do not intend to activate the player's release clause stated in the contract."
"The Turin team is very smart and they understand that they cannot afford to do so. Juventus knows well that they lost to us."
