On the night, the second semifinal of the Italian Cup ended. In it, Napoli footballers finally managed to defeat Turin's Juventus.
Former South Italian club sniper Gonzalo Higuain led the "bianconeri" team forward in the 30th minute, but after the break, Marek Hamšik managed to equalize.
Shortly after, Higuain scored once again. However, the score of 2-1 lasted even shorter, as Dries Mertens scored a goal in the 61st minute, and in the 67th minute, Lorenzo Insigne gave Napoli the advantage.
However, to Juventus' fortune, that was all the opponents could do, so the match ended 3-2. Maurizio Sarri's pupils did not bring joy from this victory, as in the first leg of the semifinal, they had lost by a two-goal margin, thus, Turin's team advances to the Coppa Italia final.
