The Mirror reports that the general director of the Italian champions, Giuseppe Marotta, stated that the Dutchman is their number 1 target and they will make every effort to lure the prolific striker. The first offer from "Juventus" (£8 million) was immediately rejected, so now the "Serie A" team has presented £20 million payment guarantees, as well as a salary of £190,000 (after taxes) to van Persie.
