Playing poorly in the "Serie A" league, the Turin "Juventus" team has come under the scrutiny of investigating authorities. The "Old Lady" is accused of falsifying records in the accounting books. While the investigation is ongoing, the President of the Italian Consumer Rights Association, Marco Donzelli, has decided to express his thoughts, urging the "Juventus" team to face the penalties already imposed in the "Calciopoli" scandal. According to the leader, the club that fraudulently managed the accounting gained an unfair advantage over its main competitors.
"These accusations are very serious and negatively affected the last football championships, when there was a real dominance of 'Juventus'. In order to defend the thousands of other clubs' fans, we will file a complaint with the Antimonopoly and Federal Prosecutor's Office, requesting to relegate the club to the "Serie B" league and strip them of the last league titles won in the shadow of these possibly illegal operations."
