Gelsenkirchen's "Schalke" defender Julian Draxler - getting closer to Turin's "Juventus" club.
Goal.com reports that the "Serie A" club has reached an agreement with the 21-year-old German and is willing to pay a salary of 3.7 million euros per season, not including bonuses.
Now the Italians have to finalize the details of the transfer fee with the Bundesliga club itself.
"We have reached a stage where both clubs have to sit down and talk. We will see how everything unfolds," - said Draxler's agent R. Wittman.
The contract of the promising player includes a release clause of 45 million euros, but it is certain that "Juventus" will want to pay significantly less - 25 million euros. In turn, "Schalke" is asking for at least 35 million euros.
