However, the determined Argentine managed to secure his place in the lineup and convince the coaches of his importance.
According to "Calciomercato", G.Higuain has started to be valued by the managers of "Juventus", who are planning to offer the veteran a new contract.
This is aimed at killing two birds with one stone - keeping the player and slightly reducing his salary of 7.5 million euros per season.
The current contract with the player will expire in the summer of 2021.
