"Juventus" won the victory, "Roma" played a draw with "Fiorentina" (VIDEO)

Today continues the battles of the 20th round of "Serie A". Fans gathered in various places in Italy to witness six matches.

Last year's champion and current leader of the table, Turin's "Juventus," at home defeated Verona's "Chievo" club, which is in the relegation zone, after a fierce battle. Both goals for "bianconeri" were scored in the second half, with midfielder Paul Pogba and defender Stephan Lichtsteiner as the authors.

Meanwhile, in Milan, the recently changed coach of the local "Inter" faced off against "Torino," in the second half of the table. Despite controlling the ball for most of the game, Roberto Mancini's team failed to score and allowed the visitors to take three points in the last moments.

Genoa's "Sampdoria," in fourth place, also unexpectedly failed to beat "Palermo" at home. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.

In the evening and probably the most anticipated match in Florence, the local "Fiorentina" hosted the vice-champion "Roma." The events on the field were balanced, so the 1-1 result is fair. The hosts were brought ahead in the first half by Mario Gomez, but the capital club managed to secure a point with a goal by Adem Ljajic.

Currently, Turin's "Juventus" leads the closest pursuers by seven points. Meanwhile, "Fiorentina" lags behind the third place, guaranteeing a spot in the UEFA Champions League, by three points. However, if "Napoli" wins against "Genoa" tomorrow, "Viola" will be five points behind the strongest European tournament.
