Zinedine Zidane announced some joyful news for the "Manchester City" club at a press conference.
Real Madrid's strategist confirmed that Karim Benzema did not have time to recover and will be forced to miss the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final. Zidane also pointed out that Casemiro, after a minor injury in the match against Real Sociedad, has not fully recovered, so he will not risk the Brazilian's health.
Nevertheless, Zidane did not only share bad news and added that one of the team's brightest stars, Cristiano Ronaldo, is ready for the decisive battles of the season.
"Cristiano is in good physical condition. However, we do not want to risk with Karim and Casemiro, so they will miss these matches. Cristiano trained with the team at 100% and he is ready to play tomorrow," Zidane said.
The first leg at the "Etihad" stadium ended in a draw. Tomorrow, the match at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium will start at 9:45 pm Lithuanian time.
