Individually excellent season played in Madrid's "Real" club Karim Benzema received recognition in his native France.
At the UNFP (Union Nationale des Footballeurs Professionnels) awards ceremony held on Sunday, K. Benzema was named the best foreign player of the year.
The French representative of Madrid's "Real" team had a tough season, but K. Benzema himself recorded some of the best statistics of his career.
The 31-year-old footballer scored 30 goals and made 11 assists in 53 games played.
